Social workers provide social services and ass istance to improve the lives of people of all ages as listed by the O*Net OnLine website by performing several of the following duties: knowledge of human behavior and performance knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis and treatment using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternate solutions determine clients' eligibility for financial assistance According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook, job openings are "expected to grow 19 percent from 2012-2022 " which is the average rate for most occupations as shown in Figure 1 (United States) . Legislation is constantly changing rules and regulations affecting the work environment, which will incre ase the demand for more social workers.
